a project to promote local swiss food

As a chef in his kitchen, the designer must also grapple with a concept, the development of an idea, its composition and presentation. I have always been passionate about the genuine food, because I consider it a privilege to eat local products of excellent quality. Combining visual design with food, it means create an artwork that let feel the flavors and sensations related to the taste.

To promote my final project of my Bachelor, Il Passaporto del Buongustaio (The Gourmet Passport),I designed an advertising campaign which includes two audiovisual spot. The first is designed to intrigue young gourmets and the second to inform them about how it works the contest combined with the event and about the content of the event.

Project was screened at the Locarno Film Festival 2014 on “Scuole senza frontiere: giovani autori in formazione tra Svizzera ed Italia”.

“Looking beyond the borders: that could be the motto of the two special days organized by the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) at the Festival del film Locarno.
The event (“Scuole senza frontiere: giovani autori in formazione tra Svizzera ed Italia”) is dedicated to a number of video and web projects developed in the last semesters by the Visual Communication students; the courses in “Media and Interaction” generated in fact a long series of Apps, documentaries, interviews, infographics, advertisements, short movies and pieces of video art which represents our students’ creativity and multidisciplinar attitude at their best.”
